used ‘ERASE ALL CONTENT & SETTINGS’ probably in error, all I get now onscreen is itunes icon & plugin cable symbol…this is a used ipad…have new apple password & user name….help

I just got an ipad. I have an existing itunes account, but i am unable to connect my ipad. how do i download my itunes account onto my ipad so i an get started on my ipad? or how do i add my ipad to my itunes account? Help!!!

yes it is not user friendly coz i cannot download from itunes also have an account its difficult to follow coz no manuals to read. hope you can make action with this.
