iTunes, The world’s top music store just got a make over. Apple launched the new generation of iTunes, iTunes 9 at Sep. 9th, 2009. You may download it from http://www.apple.com/downloads.
There’re many new features with the iTunes 9, Here are some:
- Improved store navigation, including persistent navigation menu.
- Full window iTunes store. For times when that sidebar is just too much.
- Previews from anywhere in the store – don’t have to drill down to preview.
- iTunes LP includes lyrics, liner notes, video, photos and “more.”
- iTunes Extras. It’s like DVD extras, but with iTunes. Not clear if it includes director’s commentaries, but let’s hope.

I can not get itunes to update and transfer my music to my new Ipod touch.
I have had this ipod for about 2 weeks and i have sat up many hours until 1:00 am try to get connected to the itune store all i get is”itunes could not connect to the itune store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again” I am connection to a mifi and can not find any reason why i can not connect to the itune store.I did some research on the internet and have tried the suggestions but none helped.. Please HELP i am going crazy and do not know what to do any more. thank you, Maryann

What a joke, I have spent heaps of money and time on the ipod and apple in general , just yesterdate an automatic update appeared on my computer from apple, regarding ipod program and quicktime. After allowing this to proceed I have now got some corrupted files and now my ipod is also corrupted as I was unaware of the files being corrupted. I have spent many hours trying to fix the situtaion and now I am just sick of it as can not even download the program again due to ipod stuffed. The program would not open due to missing files so I tried to update and even download new version. All failed just like my 8 week old Ipod. It then told me I must re-format my ipod due to corrupted files and guess what Itunes popped up on my computer and offered to do it , so I allowed the program to take over, fail fail fail. OH My God, I think I just want to flush it down somwhere.
